Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Technical Applications Manager to lead and support industrial gas detection, atmospheric monitoring, automation, and control systems. You will work with customers and internal teams through design, programming, testing, commissioning, and ongoing technical support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related technical environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial installations, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-site support.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and/or IDEC PLCs and HMIs.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus RTU/TCP and industrial signaling (4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V).
• Excellent communication skills for leading technical discussions, training, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, monitoring, and control system applications.
• Lead system design activities including control architecture and communications.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, networks, and instrumentation.
• Manage projects from design through startup, commissioning, and field service.
• Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Develop technical proposals, system documentation, and operating manuals.
• Mentor application engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
