Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to bridge engineering, automation, and customer support in industrial gas detection and control systems. You will guide projects from design through commissioning, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, field-tested solutions.

The role combines office engineering with on-site field activities, including training, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with field installations, startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
• Experience programming/troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, monitoring, and control applications.
• Lead system design activities including control architecture, automation strategies, and system integration.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Manage projects from concept through commissioning and customer handover.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, field service, and product teams.
