Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to lead hands-on engineering, field service, and customer-focused problem solving in industrial gas detection and automation.

You will design control architectures, program PLCs/HMIs, and support customers from design through commissioning. Travel to client sites is expected; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in applications engineering, controls, and field support.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Hands-on startup, commissioning, and customer-site support experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with field readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, automation strategies, and integration projects.
• Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
• Provide on-site commissioning, startup support, and field service.
• Develop technical proposals, system docs, and manuals.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous product improvements.
