Job summary

Analogic's Applications Engineering Manager role leads the global applications engineering organization, guiding pre-sale and post-sale technical support, system integration, and customer-specific solutions. You will coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Engineering to optimize resources and improve technical processes.

You will mentor an international team, set objectives aligned with business goals, and drive continuous improvement in support practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in applications engineering, motion control, or related field.
• 2+ years supervising technical or engineering professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications engineering activities and set priorities for customers, distributors, and sales teams.
• Provide technical leadership for pre-sale and post-sale support, including system integration.
• Oversee analysis of complex customer applications and develop effective solutions.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Management on new product requirements.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, advising on repairs or modifications.
• Manage international team hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance.
• Develop and improve technical procedures for consistent product implementation and support.
• Lead training for sales, distributors, and customers; represent the organization at events.
