Job summary

Analogic Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager to provide both technical and operational leadership for the applications engineering organization. You will guide pre-sale and post-sale technical support, oversee complex customer applications, and ensure successful selection, integration, installation, and support of Analogic products.

You will work with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Engineering to prioritize resources, improve processes, and develop team

Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in applications engineering, motion control, industrial automation, or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of experience supervising or managing technical or engineering professionals.
Demonstrated expertise in motion-control products, system integration, product applications, and complex troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead applications engineering activities and establish priorities that support customers, distributors, and sales teams.
Provide technical leadership for pre-sale and post-sale support, including product selection, application feasibility, system integration, and customer-specific requirements.
Guide the analysis of complex customer applications and the development of effective technical solutions.
Partner with Engineering and Product Management on non-standard features, product modifications, and new product requirements.
Oversee technical support for product installation, startup, testing, and system performance.
Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts, recommending product repair, replacement, or modification when appropriate.
