Job summary

Analogic-Corporation-1 is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager to provide both technical and operational leadership for the applications engineering organization. You will lead the delivery of pre-sale and post-sale technical support, oversee resolution of challenging customer applications, and ensure products are selected, integrated, installed, and supported.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in applications engineering, motion control, industrial automation, or a related technical field.
• At least two years of experience supervising or managing technical or engineering professionals.
• Demonstrated expertise in motion-control products, system integration, and complex troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across functions.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically, with some international travel possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications engineering activities and set priorities to support customers, distributors, and sales teams.
• Provide technical leadership for pre-sale and post-sale support, including product selection and integration.
• Guide analysis of complex customer applications and develop effective technical solutions.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Management on new features and product requirements.
• Oversee installation, startup, testing, and system performance support.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; recommend repairs or modifications.
• Coordinate technical escalations with cross-functional teams.
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and technical events.
• Develop and improve technical procedures for consistent product implementation and support.
