Job summary

Henkel in Madison Heights, MI, is seeking an Adhesive Technologies specialist to drive value for automotive adhesives and coatings. You will advise customers, demonstrate products, and troubleshoot while conducting lab testing and supporting product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive adhesives, tapes and related materials.
• Experience with laboratory testing, product qualification, reliability testing or technical customer support.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze technical data, troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide product recommendations, customized applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers.
• Consult customers on solutions generating value for their use cases.
• Perform technical visits with documentation in CRM and LIM systems.
• Work with application equipment to enhance customer adhesive processes.
• Supervise lab testing activities and communicate technical results to customers.
• Communicate with sales, marketing, PD, innovation, and cross-functional teams.
• Promote internal innovation and share learnings across accounts.
