Job summary

Aretum is seeking an Application Systems Analyst Lead for a federal digital content management and systems integration program. You will define business rules, metadata mappings, and workflows with government stakeholders and a small Agile team.

In the lead role, you will drive the delivery engine, facilitate Agile ceremonies, track sprint performance, and report progress and risks to government stakeholders, ensuring on-schedule delivery.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in business and systems analysis with project leadership in software teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Library or Information Science, or related field.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and user-story delivery.
• Proficient in project tracking and reporting in JIRA or equivalent.
• Experience with digital content or content exchange and metadata workflows.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document content eligibility criteria and business rules.
• Map metadata fields and define transformation and normalization rules.
• Define metadata quality and validation rules; create remediation paths.
• Document workflow states, roles, approvals, and governance responsibilities.
• Translate analysis into well-formed JIRA user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Track sprint performance and report progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare status reports for government stakeholders and manage risk logs.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies across the program.
