Job summary

Aretum is seeking an Application Systems Analyst Lead to support a large-scale federal digital content management and systems integration program. You will turn business needs into buildable user stories for a small Agile team, while leading sprint ceremonies, tracking progress, and reporting to government stakeholders.

You will work with government staff, user experience, and subject matter experts to deliver metadata mappings, workflow designs, and content exchange across enterprise systems in

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in business and systems analysis with project lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments and facilitating ceremonies.
• Hands-on project tracking and reporting with JIRA, dashboards, and burndown/velocity.
• Experience with digital content management and metadata workflows.
• Ability to produce precise analytical artifacts and user stories with acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document content eligibility criteria and business rules.
• Develop field mappings and transformation rules across systems.
• Define metadata quality and validation rules with remediation paths.
• Document workflow states, roles, permissions, and governance responsibilities.
• Translate analysis into JIRA user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Prepare status reports and manage risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and monitor sprint delivery.
