Job summary
BAL is seeking a Senior Engineer for our Application Support team to troubleshoot and support web-based applications while driving Site Reliability Engineering practices. The role acts as Tier2 technical support within the Cobalt Support team, collaborating with development, infra, and product partners to enhance reliability and proactive resolution.
You will focus on automation, observability, and continuous improvement, applying strong customer service and analytical skills to deliver
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- AWS and Salesforce certifications are preferred.
- 5+ years of .NET web application development experience.
- 3+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
- 3+ years of production support experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects and design technical solutions to resolve issues.
- Lead Application Support Engineer with SRE responsibilities.
- Improve reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop self-healing capabilities, automation workflows, and tooling.
- Analyze performance trends and proactively manage risks.
- Provide escalation support for complex incidents.
- Engage in incident/problem/change management and RCAs.
- Work with observability platforms like AppDynamics and CloudWatch.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve escalations and implement fixes.
- Own COE analysis and documentation from root cause to prevention.
