Qualifications

• Diagnose application and platform problems using logs, metrics, monitoring tools, and system diagnostics.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve application, service, and platform-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
• Maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive support and operational tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule supporting a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting production applications, distributed systems, or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, TLS/SSL certificates, and application connectivity, with experience troubleshooting service-level issues.
• Experience supporting microservices architectures, including deployments, service communication, scalability, and application reliability.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux, Kubernetes or container platforms, and AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience using monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability tools to investigate incidents and assess application health.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages for operational automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting API gateways, messaging platforms, or shared platform services.
• Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering environments.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications such as CKAD or AWS certifications.
