Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah, is seeking an Application Engineer to advance the Operations group through process automation and integration. You will develop and maintain applications, design code, test extensively, and train users across departments onsite.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering, 6+ years in a machine shop with CAM operations, experience with CATIA/NX and NX Open, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

• 6+ years in a machine shop environment with CAM operations.
• Experience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience programming NX Open.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications that effectively accomplish company objectives and user needs.
• Design and write code for applications.
• Analyze and edit existing computer applications to improve functionality.
• Remodel and adapt applications to optimize performance.
• Test applications extensively to ensure they are error and bug free.
• Act as a technical advisor to all departments.
• Collaborate with engineering and NC programming departments.
