Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah, seeks an NC Engineer to create and maintain NC programming and machining processes for aerospace parts. The role emphasizes strong communication skills and deep knowledge of CNC and machining practices across diverse manufacturing areas.

The candidate will work onsite, coordinating with design and project teams to meet detailed requirements, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field required
• Combination of extensive work experience (10+ years) may substitute for degree
• CNC programming and machining experience required
• Familiarity with Catia, NX/Unigraphics and SAP desirable
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and develop CNC/machining practices
• Develop and train personnel on new processes
• Collaborate with CNC programmers and project teams to process parts
• Communicate with design and manufacturing teams on project status
• Manage project plans, schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with customer technical teams on requirements and deliverables
• Lead engineering activities including design reviews and work order prep
• Ensure materials are organized and ready for manufacturing
• Engage with shop floor to monitor project health
• Complete quality requirements and assess project risks
