Job summary

Cadence in United States (California area) seeks a senior leader to drive timing signoff and advanced node methodologies across customers and partners. You will guide adoption of Cadence’s timing signoff portfolio and collaborate with design teams to meet ambitious success metrics.

The role requires deep digital design expertise, strong scripting, and a track record of leading technical teams and executive engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IC design implementation and signoff experience.
• Deep expertise in digital design fundamentals and advanced node STA & ECOs (3nm and below).
• Core timing signoff expertise, UPF & constraints debugging, hierarchical & 3DIC design STA and closure.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving executive-level customer success.
• Strong scripting (Tcl, Python, Perl) and flow customization for design closure.
• Experience with Cadence tools (Tempus, Certus, QRC) and competitive solutions.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with customers and partners to drive adoption of Cadence signoff portfolio.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to influence tool enhancements.
• Drive benchmarks, flow optimizations, and deployment of timing signoff, STA, IR Drop, and power/timing closure methodologies.
• Represent Cadence at industry forums, author technical papers, and deliver presentations to position Cadence as a market leader.
