Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking an engineering leader to own the shared API and SDK layer used across Unity AI workflows. You will help shape how AI asset creation capabilities evolve, partnering with orchestration and partner integration teams behind the scenes.

You will drive backend security, reliability, and observability with infrastructure as code, develop new integrations with partners, and set patterns for AI-assisted development to keep production code quality high.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with C# / .NET building production web APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Designing and evolving APIs and SDKs used by multiple teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to align stakeholders.
• Expertise with cloud offerings and observability stacks.

Responsibilities

• Own APIs and SDKs powering AI asset creation through the full lifecycle.
• Ensure backend services are secure, reliable, and observable with infrastructure as code.
• Develop and maintain new integrations with partners to improve asset workflows.
• Set patterns and guardrails for AI-assisted development and keep production code quality high.
• Support and improve CI, release, and incident management processes.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to shape roadmap investments.
