Job summary

UnityTec is seeking a Senior AI Assisted Software Developer to lead end-to-end development and modernization of enterprise web apps using .NET and React. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise production applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and modern .NET development.
• Experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server and T-SQL, including data modeling and optimization.
• Experience building modern frontend apps using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with agentic development platforms (Claude, Codex, Cursor) and shipping production-grade, spec-driven code.
• Proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, component) and keeping AI-generated code within safety nets.
• Experience with source control, PRs, CI, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Ability to balance modern agentic workflows with legacy system modernization.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise full-stack engineering and modernization: design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web apps and services with C#, ASP.NET Core, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and T-SQL.
• Modernization: migrate legacy apps to modern .NET architectures and service-based designs, using agentic tooling to accelerate the process.
• Technical operations and architecture: troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to documentation and reusable patterns.
• Agentic AI strategy and infrastructure: lead AI adoption, build guardrails, and craft prompts, rules, and context boundaries.
• QA, standards, and governance: define strict workflows, ensure secure, testable code, and enforce quality gates.
• Mentorship and evangelism: coach engineers, run demos, share best practices, and build internal AI playbooks.
