Job summary

Halozyme seeks a Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable & T&E in San Diego to manage Procure-to-Pay, AP, and corporate T&E processes using NetSuite and Concur. You will ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and robust controls in a SOX environment while partnering with cross-functional teams.

You will support month-end close, accruals, and reporting, drive automation, and contribute to scalable solutions within a life sciences context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of AP, Procure-to-Pay, T&E and/or GL accounting in SOX environment.
• Experience in life sciences/pharma/manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP, payments, accruals, expense reporting, card programs, internal controls, and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and analyze Procure-to-Pay transactions including AP, invoices, credit memos, POs, vendor accruals, reconciliations, and related activity.
• Support P2P and T&E processes with timely execution, accurate coding, policy compliance, and strong customer service.
• Administer corporate T&E card program including cardholder support, policy compliance, transaction monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting.
• Perform vendor verification, validate information, banking details, tax docs, approvals.
• Execute payments through NetSuite and direct bank interfaces (ACH, wire, check, domestic/foreign).
• Research and resolve vendor/employee/banking/invoice/payment inquiries with Finance, partners, vendors, auditors.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, month-end schedules, and AP/T&E reporting.
