Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a publicly traded life sciences organization to recruit a Sr AP Accountant. You will own full-cycle AP, manage international payments, and help drive process improvements in a SOX-controlled environment.

This role requires 5+ years in accounts payable, proficiency with NetSuite and Excel, and a degree in Accounting or Finance. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and support 1099 reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, procure-to-pay, expense management, or GL accounting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, expense management platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (life sciences/pharma/manufacturing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support full-cycle accounts payable activities including invoice processing, vendor payments, PO transactions, credit memos, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee corporate travel and expense programs, ensuring policy compliance and employee support.
• Administer corporate credit card programs, monitor transactions, resolve issues, and generate reporting.
• Conduct vendor onboarding and maintenance, verify banking information, tax docs, and approval workflows.
• Process domestic and international payments via ACH, wires, checks, and banking platforms.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, aging analyses, and AP/expense reporting schedules.
• Research and resolve vendor/employee/banking/payment inquiries with internal and external partners.
• Support 1099 reporting, vendor tax compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Assist NetSuite enhancements, automation, and workflow optimization projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and vendor/employee experience.
