Job summary

Servco is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist, an individual contributor within Accounts Payable, to support multi-entity operations and partner with the AP Supervisor. The role emphasizes daily AP functions, process improvements, and controls, including 1099 compliance and payment setups.

The position focuses on ensuring accurate, timely AP processing in line with U.S. GAAP, leveraging ERP systems and automation to enhance efficiency across entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive Accounts Payable or accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, automation, or process change efforts.
• Industry experience in retail, manufacturing, or automotive preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP operations, P2P workflows, U.S. GAAP.
• Experience using ERP systems (Oracle Financial Cloud) and supporting tech/AI tools; DealerTrack familiarity.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Learning agility and curiosity to continually expand system/process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance to AP team members and promote policy adherence.
• Escalate complex AP matters to the AP Supervisor and resolve issues or elevate as needed.
• Support AP compliance and internal control activities, including 1099 reporting, by reviewing transactions and maintaining records.
• Perform established procedures for ACH and wire payment setup, maintenance, and verification with proper logging.
• Partner with AP Supervisor to prepare and maintain AP KPI reporting and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes through standardization, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Ensure AP transactions are processed accurately and timely in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
