Gainor Staffing is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in New York. You will oversee full-cycle AP for multiple entities, manage high-volume invoice processing, vendor payments, and month-end close. This role emphasizes accuracy, controls, and timely reporting within a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance and accounts payable, hands-on experience with G/L coding, GAAP, sales/use tax, and 1099 reporting, and familiarity with AP systems (Sage X3 preferred).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of finance and accounts payable experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle AP in high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of G/L coding, GAAP, sales/use tax, and 1099 reporting.
• Experience with AP systems; Sage X3 preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice processing, check requests, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
• Manage AP data entry, G/L coding, sales/use tax, and vendor records.
• Lead monthly AP close and maintain aging and payment reports.
• Ensure accurate 1099 processing and support audits and finance requests.
