Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of AP or general accounting experience with strong foundational accounting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Sage or Paycor is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Interest in growing from transactional accounting into financial analysis.
• Excited about automation and process improvement; open to change, with a high capacity to learn.
• Big-picture thinking with the discipline to execute the details.
• Comfort with ambiguity and gray-area decisions; able to work independently when the situation calls for it.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounts payable, processing and analyzing invoices accurately and on time.
• Lead the transition of a manual AP process to automation.
• Contribute to the month-end close and GL analysis as automation frees capacity.
• Grow into accounts receivable, budgeting, and spend trend analysis.
• Perform general ledger analysis, expense controls, and spend trend analysis.
• Communicate findings clearly with staff and leaders.
