Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an AP/AR leader in Grand Rapids, MI to guide and develop the AP and AR team. You will oversee invoicing, approvals, payments, billing, cash application, and collections, while ensuring accurate month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.

The role requires strong AP/AR expertise, leadership experience, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with senior leadership to support business needs and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong AP/AR and accounting operations experience
• Previous team leadership or management experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and accounting/reporting systems

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop AP and AR team members
• Oversee invoicing, approvals, payments, billing, cash application, and collections
• Manage AP/AR month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
• Review reconciliations and financial/operational reports
• Resolve complex AP and AR issues
• Monitor performance metrics and drive process improvements
• Partner with leadership and other departments to support business needs
