Job summary

AUTOKINITON, our corporate office in New Boston, MI, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage ledgers, post and reconcile invoices, and resolve payment discrepancies. You will collaborate with Sales and Purchasing, and support month-end close and internal controls in a fast-paced manufacturing finance team.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in accounting or finance and 1–3 years of AP experience, with familiarity in QAD, OnBase, and consolidation systems a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of accounts payable or similar experience.
• Understanding of financial systems and general ledger accounting.
• Practical experience in audit procedures and processes, financial reporting, accounting, variance analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of QAD and Consolidation systems a plus (or similar integrated manufacturing systems).
• Experience with corporate banking platforms, such as CashPro (Bank of America).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts payable ledgers, aging, and related financial systems.
• Post, reconcile, and file high-volume invoices daily.
• Investigate and resolve non-matching items and past-due accounts.
• Interface with Sales, Purchasing, customers, vendors, and intercompany partners to resolve pricing and payment issues.
• Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and internal controls.
