Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Michigan is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to maintain ledgers, post invoices, and resolve discrepancies. You’ll collaborate with Sales and Purchasing, manage month-end closings, and support budgeting and forecasting within a fast-paced corporate finance team.

The role requires an Associate's degree and 1–3 years AP experience; knowledge of QAD or other ERP systems is a plus. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• 1–3 years in accounts payable or similar work.
• General ledger and financial system knowledge.
• Experience with audit procedures and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of banking platforms such as CashPro.

Responsibilities

• Post, reconcile, and process high-volume invoices and related payables.
• Investigate and resolve non-matching items and past-due accounts.
• Coordinate with sales/purchasing and intercompany partners on pricing and transactions.
• Manage month-end close activities for payable items.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
• Participate in ERP system changes and process improvements.
• Assist with special projects and internal controls documentation.

Education

Associate's degree in accounting or finance

1–3 years of accounts payable experience

Understanding of financial systems and general ledger accounting

Audit procedures, financial reporting, variance analysis

Knowledge of corporate banking platforms (e.g., CashPro)
