Job summary

Hollingsworth is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payment of vendors for our packaging business. You will collaborate with the AP Manager, Accounting Managers, Shipping and Receiving, Buyers and department heads to post invoices and resolve discrepancies, while reconciling statements.

The role involves processing three-way matches, weekly invoices, and various payments, with a focus on accuracy and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of all accounting functions and good mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a three-way match of purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor invoices.
• Processes all invoices for select HLG companies in a timely manner, obtaining authorization.
• Processes weekly invoices for payment.
• Clears wire, utility, and CIA payments for assigned company code.
• Inputs manual checks into the accounts payable system promptly.
• Participates in monthly close by posting invoices per the close calendar.
• Creates debit memos when necessary.
• Reconciles vendor statements as per defined frequency.
• Interacts with internal and external parties to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Handles vendor credit applications and inquiries.
