Job summary

The role requires 4+ years in transactional financial operations, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication with vendors and internal partners. Hybrid work with in-office presence at least 3 days weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial operations in a transactional environment.
• Working knowledge of invoice processing, payment execution, reconciliations, and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Problem solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies within established guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for working with vendors, customers, and internal partners.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and standard productivity tools.
• High school diploma and/or specialized certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices, expense claims, and customer payments, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper account coding.
• Enter transactions into financial systems and route items for approval in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Monitor invoice and payment queues to ensure timely processing; identify issues and escalations as needed.
• Support payment processing activities, including scheduled check runs, electronic payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Apply customer payments to receivable accounts and assist with reconciling cash receipts and ledger balances.
• Research and respond to vendor, customer, and internal inquiries related to invoice status, payments, credits, or documentation.
• Support month end and ongoing close activities, including reports, reconciliations, and data validation.
• Perform aging reviews and assist with basic analysis to support collections and cash management activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support internal controls, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processing efficiency and accuracy within defined procedures.
