Job summary

NetEase is seeking a senior animation lead to drive the runtime animation system for a dual-perspective shooter. You will design core solutions for aiming and weapon handling, oversee animation R&D, and guide cross-team execution while mentoring the animation TA team.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high-quality, performant animation across first- and third-person perspectives, balancing quality with maintainability and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Many years of experience in game animation and animation TA R&D.
• Experience in runtime animation development for top-tier PvP shooter projects preferred.
• Deep understanding of dual-perspective shooting feel and runtime performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the animation TA team with matrix management and set technical standards.
• Design, validate, and implement core solutions for aiming, weapon handling, and procedural animation.
• Collaborate with animation, programming, and game design to translate solutions into plans and drive cross-team execution.
• Establish animation technical specifications, review standards, and problem-diagnosis methods.
• Drive mass production and continuous iteration of animation solutions within the project.
