Job summary

2K is seeking a Lead Animator in San Mateo, California to lead high-quality animation work and mentor team members. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to contribute to the game’s visual style and quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive game development experience, including leadership skills and proficiency in Unreal Engine and Maya. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of experience in game development, including at least one shipped AAA title in an animation role.
• 2–4+ years of experience in a leadership role and/or mentoring experience.
• An animation reel that demonstrates high-quality hand-keyed animation.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality in-game animations that support responsive gameplay.
• Collaborate closely with technical artists, game designers, and engineers.
• Provide feedback and mentor team members.
