Capital One is seeking a Mobile Engineer 4 - Android who can deliver high-impact features for 100M+ customers in a remote-eligible setup. You will partner with cross-functional teams to build scalable mobile experiences, drive architecture decisions, and mentor peers.

You will deepen expertise in native mobile platforms, performance, accessibility, and automated testing while contributing to SDUI, BFFs, and modern state management patterns.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building native mobile apps for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).

Responsabilidades

• Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing, quality features for 100M+ customers.
• Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and platform best practices.
• Grow and provide subject matter expertise in key platform areas (performance, accessibility, architecture).
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, API design reviews, and reusable components.
• Lead design and development of client Backend-for-Frontends (BFFs) and Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures.
• Lead the implementation and refinement of engineering practices, including feature flags and staged rollouts.
• Champion adoption of agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices.
• Apply mastery of mobile ecosystem to make high-leverage technical contributions.
• Drive a culture of quality, performance, accessibility, and customer empathy.
