Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Mobile Engineer 4 to advance mobile platforms in a remote-eligible role. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing features for 100M+ customers, lead mobile architecture decisions, and mentor engineers to elevate engineering practices.

You will drive SDUI/BFF initiatives, pursue performance optimization, and champion AI-native development to accelerate delivery while upholding accessibility and UX standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships excluded).
• At least 3 years building native mobile apps for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing features for 100M+ customers.
• Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Mentor other engineers, perform code reviews, and clear obstacles.
• Grow subject matter expertise in performance, accessibility, and architecture.
• Lead design and development of BFFs and Server-Driven UI architectures.
