You will own end-to-end features, collaborate with product, design, QA, and fellow engineers, and help evolve best practices to deliver fast, accessible, and beautiful experiences for readers. You will mentor teammates, contribute to performance improvements, and explore AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining high quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience with consumer apps at scale.
• Proficient in Kotlin and modern Android patterns (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flows, MVVM/MVI).
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility, performance, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality Android experiences across the Fable app.
• Collaborate with product, design, QE, and engineers to ship performant features.
• Strengthen the app architecture and performance, ensuring stability.
• Contribute to technical direction and Android best practices for Fable.
• Improve code quality, test coverage, and release reliability with peers.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and design discussions.
