Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience, shipping consumer apps at scale.
• Proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flows, and modern Android patterns (MVVM/MVI).
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance of mobile apps.
• Thrives in cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and QA.
• Shows ownership from concept to release and mentors teammates.
• Willing to apply AI coding tools to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality Android experiences across the Fable app.
• Collaborate with product, design, QE, and engineers to deliver performant, intuitive UI.
• Strengthen app architecture and performance.
• Contribute to technical direction and evolution of Android foundations.
• Partner with engineers to improve code quality, test coverage, and release reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and design discussions.
• Champion a user-first mindset in technical decisions.
