Scribd, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for the Fable team to design and build high-quality Android experiences. You will lead architecture, drive performance, and collaborate across product, design, and QA to deliver polished, scalable features.

You will mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and apply user-first thinking while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development. The role may require occasional in-person collaboration consistent with Scribd Flex.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience building consumer apps at scale.
• Proficient in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose and modern Android patterns (MVVM/MVI).
• Strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and QA teams.
• Willing to mentor teammates and contribute to code reviews.
• Interest in applying AI coding tools to improve velocity.
