Job summary

AXA XL in the United States is seeking an Anaplan Lead to manage requirements and prioritization across Finance planning, actuarial and analytics. This role leads both a functional and technical Anaplan team for project delivery, BAU tasks, releases and scenario modelling in a regulated insurance setting.

You’ll partner with model owners, ensure timely releases, maintain documentation, manage access and licenses, and mentor the Anaplan staff while coordinating audits and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Advanced experience in Insurance/Reinsurance FP&A planning.
• Anaplan system and scenario modeling knowledge.
• Proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets.
• Experience with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
• High energy, strong work ethic and results-driven.
• Ability to influence others and manage ambiguity.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive Anaplan vision and strategy with stakeholder engagement across Finance.
• Partner with model owners to optimize Anaplan usage in end-to-end processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of releases and BAU tasks within SLAs.
• Respond to audit requests in a timely manner.
• Provide Anaplan BAU status, risks, and issues to leadership.
• Document lifecycle and BAU tasks across planning cycles.
• Manage Anaplan COE user access and license limits.
• Provide SME guidance on models and functionality.
• Support planning cycles and business continuity.
• Review testing results and coordinate defect resolution.
• Train and support Anaplan user community.
• Hire, develop and mentor Anaplan staff.
