Qualifications

• Actuarial work experience within the property and casualty insurance or reinsurance industry.
• FCAS or seasoned ACAS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients of varying actuarial knowledge.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support reserve indications while evaluating and retrospectively reviewing reserve performance.
• Perform deep-dive analytics to develop forward-looking recommendations for senior leadership.
• Build relationships with finance and underwriting as a consultative business partner.
• Support strategic actuarial initiatives with insightful business intelligence.
• Prepare actuarial reports and exhibits on business unit results to focus resources on emerging risk areas.
• Collaborate with actuarial and financial teams around the globe.
• Stay abreast of current trends and developments in assigned functional areas.
