Job summary

Ruder Finn seeks a Senior Analytics Manager to join its Emerging Technology & Analytics team, driving earned media, social listening, audience research, and GEO audits. You will guide junior staff, translate data into compelling narratives and connect insights to client objectives.

The role blends strategy and hands-on analytics, requiring strong storytelling, collaboration, and ability to lead across global teams while delivering executive-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years in research/analytics; agency experience preferred.
• Experience leading analytics projects and coaching globally distributed teams.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights, storytelling and actionable recommendations.
• Experience with earned media, social/influencer measurement and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data-visualization tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and analytics workstreams for pitches and client assignments from approach to final presentation.
• Translate business questions into focused research plans and deliverables.
• Oversee earned media, social, audience, influencer and competitive research with QA.
• Coach junior and global team members across multiple regions.
• Synthesize findings into executive-ready narratives tied to client objectives.
• Present findings to senior leaders and clients, guiding discussions and responses.
• Develop measurement frameworks for integrated programs across media and social.
• Lead GEO audits to assess brand visibility and opportunities within AI platforms.
• Build searches, analyze platform data, and support dashboards and visualizations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into client strategies.
• Support development of team capabilities, analytics and training.
