Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Staff Analytics Engineer to lead analytics solutions for its Wind Engineering Fleet Data & Analytics team. You will own data pipelines, analytics products, and monitoring to support turbine reliability and fleet performance across the global wind fleet.

You will work with SCADA, sensors, and enterprise systems to deliver scalable analytics, dashboards, and data models, applying CI/CD and Agile methods while mentoring teammates and collaborating with wind

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for production-quality analytics.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting data pipelines, data models, and analytics workflows.
• Experience developing dashboards and data applications using Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, Streamlit, or similar tools.
• Experience applying CI/CD, version control, testing, and release management in data/analytics environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams, including backlog management and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

• Own development and operation of analytics solutions across full lifecycle: design, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Work with SCADA data, condition-based monitoring, turbine sensors, and enterprise platforms to build analytics assets.
• Build scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows for reliable production analytics.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to surface insights on turbine reliability and fleet performance.
• Design reusable data models and analytics components for cross-functional wind use cases.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline health, and performance; conduct root-cause analysis.
