Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Staff Analytics Engineer to join the Wind Engineering Fleet Data & Analytics team. You will design and deliver data pipelines, analytics products, and monitoring capabilities powering turbine reliability, fleet performance, and engineering decisions.

You will build dashboards using Power BI/Tableau/Plotly/Streamlit, design scalable data models, and ensure data quality across production environments through CI/CD and strong collaboration with cross-functional wind

Qualifications

Formal education in CS/Engineering/Data Science/etc is nice to have, but total experience matters most.
8+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for production-quality analytics and data solutions.
Experience designing, building, and supporting data pipelines, data models, and analytics workflows in industrial/enterprise environments.
Experience developing dashboards and data applications using Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, Streamlit, or similar tools.
Experience applying CI/CD, version control, testing, and release management practices in data/analytics.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams, including backlog management and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows from raw turbine and fleet data.
Develop analytics products, dashboards, and KPIs to surface insights on reliability and performance.
Design reusable data models and analytics components for cross-functional wind use cases.
Monitor production solutions for data quality, pipeline health, and performance; lead root cause analysis.
Apply CI/CD, testing, version control, and release management practices to analytics solutions.
Collaborate with wind engineering, product, digital, and operations teams to translate domain needs into scalable solutions.
Mentor teammates and contribute to backlog and release planning in Agile delivery structures.
