Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology or related field.
• 5+ years building analytics engines with healthcare data and data modeling.
• Experience with claims and clinical datasets and translating data into insights.
• Designing scalable data models, data marts, and semantic layers for BI/analytics.
• Knowledge of healthcare vocabularies (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED) and interoperability.
• Cloud data platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable) and modern data stacks.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Scala) for data transformation.
• Experience with ML-ready datasets and data pipelines for predictive use cases.
• Ability to translate business problems into structured data solutions at scale.
• Healthcare industry experience; strong communication to stakeholders.
• Hands-on with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, Delta Lake) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business teams to model data and define metrics.
• Build and operationalize data pipelines and feature stores for BI and ML workloads.
• Design and optimize data transformations using cloud platforms (Databricks, ADF).
• Develop ML-ready datasets and model-ready features for risk scoring and forecasting.
• Create semantic models and dashboards in Databricks/Power BI/Tableau.
• Partner with data scientists to ensure alignment between training and inference data.
• Embed AI/ML outputs into clinical and operational workflows and alerts.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and scalable data foundations.
