Job summary

Clarify Health Solutions seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the analytics behind product metrics. You will define data groupings, validate numbers, and own pipeline development from ingestion to production, partnering with product and customer teams to scope features and deliver robust analytics.

You will work with healthcare claims context, write complex SQL, and ensure data quality and test coverage across the data lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or health-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in data analysis, healthcare analytics, or a data-heavy role.
• Advanced SQL with ability to define grain and defend values.
• Experience in AWS, and with AI models for code development.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, claims, provider/network data, and claim codes.
• Experience in production data environments with scheduled refreshes and QA processes.
• Clear writing with specifications, acceptance criteria, and decision records.

Responsibilities

• Own derived data points from development through QA into production, including logic and tests.
• Write data methodology and logic for episode triggers, provider attribution, cost standardization, and quality numerators/denominators/exclusions.
• Manage and expand the reference data library (maps, codesets, geographies).
• Prove numbers with reconciliation SQL and baseline comparisons.
• Turn QA into ongoing coverage with data tests and completeness thresholds.
• Run data refresh and delivery cadence, hand off validated groupings to data science and product.
• Scope and write specifications for feature requests, decide ownership, and drive releases.
• Settle cross-team methodology on attribution, referrals, and provider reference data.
• Ensure AI tooling outputs are checked against source data and reviewed.
