Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist in Analytical Development to advance RNA therapeutics by developing analytical methods for lipids, antibodies, and RNA modalities.

You will work across discovery and development, lead method lifecycle activities, and collaborate with process development, formulation, research, and manufacturing to deliver robust data and support CMC strategies.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 2+ years of CMC-related experience; PhD candidates considered.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UHPLC (IP-RP, RP, CAD) for RNA, lipid, and impurity quantitation.
• Experience with DLS, RiboGreen, ELISA, Raman spectroscopy, light/confocal microscopy, UV-Vis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical writing for reports and regulatory documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations (ICH, FDA) for analytical data and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize analytical methods for RNA therapeutics and lipid nanoparticles.
• Support routine and platform testing for safety, identity, content, purity, potency, and quality attributes.
• Lead method lifecycle activities and author SOPs, protocols, and reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support development and timelines.
• Troubleshoot analytical challenges and improve assay performance.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
