Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Labor Operations to develop and enable store labor strategies that align staffing with demand, priorities, and the customer experience.

You will evaluate staffing and productivity trends, translate analysis into business requirements, and partner across teams to support accurate labor allocation and planning, including annual labor planning and total-store hours of operation.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must demonstrate strong proficiency in workforce management.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access.
• Strongly prefer experience with MicroStrategy, Alteryx, and VBA.
• Quantitative analysis and problem solving.
• Must have strong organizational skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strategic planning and operational judgment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for workforce and labor modeling to provide actionable insights to help ensure labor aligns with company targets.
• Analyze current labor models in core and services to assess areas of opportunity to further enhance and align store labor spend to company financial goals.
• Identifies, evaluates, and defines staffing trends to support labor performance through total store cross-functional staffing
• Provides staffing guidance to field leaders and partners to ensure staffing alignment.
• Assesses, designs, and provides labor model recommendations for all businesses to optimize and influence store labor performance.
• Responsible for configuration and maintenance of store facing labor management resources (i.e. staffing tools).
• Responsible for development of store labor hour capacity thresholds taking into account current headcounts, PT/FT status, and other key drivers.
• Analyze and manages process to update annual core revenue bands and services tiers
• Owns the annual assessment, recommendation, and implementation of Total Store hours of operation.
