Job summary

University of California, Berkeley seeks a Senior Analyst to drive East Coast & Emerging Regions fundraising efforts with data-driven planning and operational rigor. You will partner with major gift officers, alumni, and campus leadership to advance strategies, manage programs, and ensure efficient daily operations.

The role requires 3+ years in fundraising analytics, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and excellent communication; remote work is possible up to 95% within the U.S., with full-time status

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years applying fundraising, donor relations and PR concepts in a philanthropic setting.
• 2+ years in donor/prospect research tailored to donor needs.
• Strong analytical and information management skills with Excel/Sheets competence.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication for campus relations.
• Experience leading projects with diverse stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage programs driving revenue growth and pipeline efficiency.
• Oversee major projects, coordinating gift officers and team tasks.
• Partner with leadership to operationalize the annual strategic plan.
• Collaborate with colleagues on program ideation, planning and execution.
• Track, analyze and report fundraising results to campus and donors.
• Maintain donor data accuracy in the CRM and related systems.
• Prepare briefing materials and proposals with stakeholders for leadership.
• Coordinate portfolio research requests and update donor prospects.
• Manage events logistics and communications for donor engagements.
• Provide regional relationship management and stakeholder coordination.
