The role involves coordinating with campus leadership, planning large-scale campaigns, and soliciting gifts at the $250k+ level, with an annual goal of at least $3M.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with leadership-level and/or major gift fundraising.
• Advanced knowledge of East Coast regional issues and higher education context.
• Experience applying fundraising concepts to donor relations and public relations.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication with political acumen.
• Ability to present persuasively for major philanthropic gifts.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strict confidentiality in handling donor information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a dynamic portfolio of 100–125 prospects based on the East Coast and Emerging Regions.
• Plan and direct large-scale fundraising initiatives involving multiple campus stakeholders.
• Staff campus leadership travel to the East Coast and coordinate with senior university leaders.
• Ensure fundraising goals, including a minimum of $3M raised annually, through data-driven programs.
• Identify, engage, and support key volunteers to advance philanthropic goals.
• May supervise professional and support staff across multi-component fundraising programs.
• Attend functions and meetings regionally or on campus as a representative.
