Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a Senior Product Support Engineer with advanced expertise in Altium solutions, PCB design workflows, and enterprise environments. You will lead technical support for complex issues involving Altium Designer, Altium 365, and Enterprise Server technologies.

You will investigate root causes, mentor engineers, and collaborate with R&D and Product teams to resolve high-impact cases. The role emphasizes hands-on PCB design and PLM integrations within enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of electronic design software, verification and automation.
• Advanced experience supporting PCB design workflows; experience with Altium products is strongly preferred.
• 6+ years in PCB design, electronic product development, EDA software support, or related engineering environments.
• Experience in Technical Support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and support a prioritized customer base defined by management.
• Serve as an escalation resource and document technical findings for broader consumption.
• Support the customer base through FAQs, Knowledge Base articles, Online Help, and Community Forum participation.
• Document all customer issues, case activities, and escalations per support processes.
• Drive root cause analysis for high-impact escalations and coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
• Create technical content such as online help, user guides, video tutorials, knowledge base articles, quick start guides.
• Provide live coaching and assistance to team members.
• Act as a senior escalation resource, driving resolution of highly complex issues across multiple product/workflow domains.
• Test pre-release products and features and help prepare technical teams for releases.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and professionalism.
