Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer with advanced Altium expertise to lead technical support for complex customer environments, including Altium Designer, Altium 365, and Enterprise Server technologies.

You will investigate escalations, perform root cause analysis, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with R&D and product teams to drive resolution and knowledge content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering required.
• Extensive experience with PCB design software and verification.
• Experience with Altium products and enterprise platform solutions preferred.
• 6+ years in electronic design software or enterprise engineering.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a prioritized customer base and cases.
• Escalation resource; document findings for broader teams.
• Support customers via FAQs, Knowledge Base, online help, and forums.
• Document issues and escalations per support processes.
• Lead root cause analysis with R&D and product teams.
• Create technical content: guides, tutorials, KB articles.
• Provide coaching and technical leadership to teammates.
• Test pre-release products and prepare teams for releases.
• Maintain high knowledge and professionalism.
