Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation, in San Diego, CA, seeks a Senior Product Support Engineer with deep Altium expertise to lead complex customer issues across Altium Designer, Altium 365, and Enterprise Server environments. You will mentor peers, perform in-depth root cause analyses, and collaborate with R&D and product teams to drive long-term fixes.

You will design and deliver technical content, help resolve escalations, and participate in pre-release testing to ensure robust product readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years in technical support for electronic design software or enterprise engineering platforms.
• Advanced experience with PCB design workflows and Altium products.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a prioritized customer base and act as escalation resource.
• Document findings and drive root cause analysis with R&D and product teams.
• Create technical content: online help, knowledge base articles, guides, tutorials.
• Provide live coaching and technical leadership across multiple product domains.
• Test pre-release products and prepare teams for upcoming releases.
