Job summary

Brooks Brothers is seeking a Fitter/Tailor in our Alterations department to deliver expert alterations and fabric knowledge to customers in a timely manner, reporting to the Store Manager. You will sew, measure, hem and fit garments to customer specifications, uphold quality and service standards, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications include at least 5 years tailoring experience, knowledge of shirt construction, and flexibility to work various shifts including

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in tailoring.
• Knowledge of clothing and shirt construction and fabrics.
• Scheduling flexibility to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to communicate with customers on the sales floor.
• Proficient in special order tools, fabrics and programs.

Responsibilities

• Sew, measure, hem, and fit garments to meet customer needs.
• Achieve personal productivity and assist in meeting Brooks Brothers productivity goals.
• Utilize Brooks Brothers systems to meet productivity goals.
• Repair or replace defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, buttons, and linings.
• Represent the brand as an ambassador and adhere to code of conduct and dress code.
