Job summary

Brooks Brothers is seeking an experienced Fitter/Tailor to join our Alterations team on the selling floor. You will tailor and fit garments to customer specifications, ensuring quality and timely service while upholding Brooks Brothers standards.

Role requires 5+ years of tailoring experience, knowledge of garment construction, and prior retail or custom clothing sales exposure. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in tailoring.
• Knowledge of clothing and shirt construction and fabrics.
• Previous experience in a retail environment or in custom clothing sales.

Responsibilities

• Sew, measure, hem, and fit garments to meet customer needs using Brooks Brothers standards.
• Achieve personal productivity and assist in meeting productivity goals.
• Utilize Brooks Brothers systems to meet productivity goals.
• Provide highest level of quality and customer service within call dates.
• Repair or replace defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, buttons, and linings.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized store environment.
• Represent the brand with the Brooks Brothers code of conduct and service expectations.
