Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Technician at Hill AFB, UT to support DISA-provided GIG/DISN services within the AISR Operations Support Cell. You will monitor, triage, diagnose, and resolve network incidents 24/7, coordinating with teams to restore services and maintain situational awareness.

The role requires an active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligible), DoD-8570 IAT Level 2, and hands-on experience with routers, switches, DSN/DRSN, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Currently possess an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
• Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, and performance management.
• Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, and related network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets.
• Independently triages and manages ticket queue in respective technology.
• Monitor network events and element management in real-time 24x7x365 across multiple tools.
• Perform fault isolation and root-cause analysis to resolve incidents.
• Coordinate recovery actions and document known error data in CMDB.
• Assist in 24/7 sustainment and provide situational awareness to leadership.
